Since its inception, Hart has overseen the company's strategic plans, with a sharp focus on portfolio strategy and capital markets to drive sustainable growth and maximize returns. His forward-thinking leadership has positioned the company for long-term success in the constantly evolving real estate industry. In addition to his leadership role, Hart is an attending physician specializing in Neurology at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Evan Cohen

Principal, Founding Member

As a founding member, Evan has played a key role in executing strategic initiatives, expertly navigating the complexities of investment management and financial strategy. His deep market expertise and financial acumen have been vital to the company's steady growth and value creation. Evan holds a Master’s in Biotechnology from the University of Pennsylvania, an MBA from the University of Central Florida, and is also a licensed real estate broker in California.

Josh Samaha

Director of Acquisitions

Josh is focused on sourcing and acquiring multifamily properties that fit the company’s investment criteria. Prior to joining Cores, Josh worked at Pacific Urban Investors as Vice President where he focused on sourcing, underwriting and asset managing multifamily investments. Prior to Pacific Urban Investors, Josh worked at The Concord Group, a real estate consulting firm that provides market research and feasibility studies to institutional clients across the country. Josh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Geography from UCLA.

Mark McRoskey

Director of Capital Markets

As Director of Capital Markets, Mark leads equity sourcing and investor relations for Cores' HNW, family office, and institutional partners. He has ten years of experience across private and public real estate platforms, with over $1.3B of multifamily equity managed.

During his time at ColRich and REALM, he led capital formation, structured joint ventures, and was responsible for the full investor lifecycle, including all reporting and distributions.

Kimberly Chatfield

Director of Asset Management

Kimberly is a property management executive with 20 years of experience overseeing multifamily properties. Having worked for some of the largest multifamily investment companies in the country including Fogelman and Hawthorne Residential Partners, Kimberly has a deep knowledge of the physical assets and oversees the company’s renovation programs as well as all on-site management activities.

Teresa Atkinson

Director of Operations

Teresa is a seasoned Property Management professional specializing in residential properties. With over three decades of experience in the real estate industry, she is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day property accounting procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial matters. Beyond accounting, Teresa's expertise extends to a wide range of operational processes such as data management, compliance and marketing.
